Christine Liu
Christine has always been an avid fitness fan, spending a good amount of her youth either in the pool as a competitive swimmer or in the gym where she was first introduced to yoga.
After sustaining a back injury at 18, she found yoga particularly beneficial for her body as well as her mind.
After climbing the corporate ladder and suffering from burnout she decided to finally pursue her yoga teaching qualifications qualifying in 2017 as a RYT 200 hr instructor. Since then she has taught in multiple gym and studio locations in the South Hants area leading mindfulness classes for major corporations.
Due to her chronic back injury she was recommended to take Pilates from her physiotherapist and immediately saw the benefits of maintaining a regular Pilates practice.
After her pregnancy and emergency c-section she decided to pursue her Pilates training as she saw first hand the positive rehabilitation Pilates offered. While still in training for her Level 4 Pilates, she hopes to offer more functional classes for those who have chronic pain or contraindications; incorporating both her knowledge of Pilates to rehabilitate the body and yoga to rehabilitate the mind.
